Weeds are meant to be kept in places that are out of reach for children, animals and addicts. Well, who knows dogs could eat weed and start thinking? Yes, that can actually happen.
As dogs would normally do, this dog thought that everything that smelled good was for the mouth, or as long as whatever it was sniffing did not smell bad, it could automatically be eaten. Well, poor dogs, that is not always the case!
A dog was in the home of its owner and was comfortable that whatever it would eat there would be good. The dog found the weed, but because the dog did not know what weed is and the negative effect of weed, or eat the weed. Yes!, you read that right, the ‘innocent dog ate the weed.
As expected, the dog got really high and started showing signs of depression, vomiting, increased urination, loss of coordination and tremors. Poor dog!. The owner of the dog noticed that her dog had eaten the weed and started making a video of the dog, explaining that the dog just ate weed and that the dog is showing signs of being high. Of course, she did not want her dog to die and hoped for it to get better.
The dog just sat by a door alone, looking completely confused because it was clearly high. If the owner had noticed quickly that her dog had ingested weed, she could have triggered the dog to vomit the weed, but that does not work in all cases as dogs absorb it faster when compared to we humans
At a point when the dog seemed to be losing consciousness, she hit the dog which kind of helped the dog. Saliva could be seen dripping from the mouth of the dog. The poor dog kept on looking everywhere, clearly confused. The dog almost fell but it hit its body on the door which prevented it from falling.
All the dog needed was management to take care of the situation, as there is no antidote to give dogs who have ingested weed.
