There’s an old adage that says the best way to stop getting picked on is to stand up to him. There’s another old adage that says together they stand, divided they fall.
Well, the star of today’s viral video has certainly taken those two concepts and made them his own. Revenge.
Retribution. Payback. However you want to look at it, the idea of an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth is an old and revered one that’s been with humanity for a long, long time.
The five guys who dropped a beat down on the kid in today’s video should have taken that into consideration when they jumped him.
You can view the incident in the video at the bottom of the screen.
Given the sheer weight of numbers, it’s safe to say the guy didn’t stand a chance against the collected might of his opponents. Shortly after, in a spate of revenge worthy of a movie like The Crow or John Wick, the victim gets his own back.
You’ll have to imagine a montage full of shadow boxing, fists plunging into buckets of sand and time spent scouting the expected location of his attackers because there’s not one in this video.
There’s no Eye Of The Tiger either, but that doesn’t mean our beaten hero doesn’t issue a couple of serious butt-kickings.
In the vid, you’ll see him track down two of the guys who first jumped him. He has a camera crew with him to document it – and in a ballsy move, he even goes to one of the jumper’s homes.
On both occasions, you can hear people asking him to stop, but in nonchalant fashion, he calmly informs those people that the guy he’s beating jumped him.
It’ll be interesting to see what comes of this. Whether they mount further reprisals or whether the group of guys learned a lesson from this is yet to be seen, but one thing’s for sure.
The young fella certainly knows how to hold a grudge and while I don’t know if his methods should be commended per se, it did take some serious cajones to follow through with his plan and administer his revenge in true cold-blooded fashion.
